Rick Bender
Co-CEO
With over three decades of executive leadership, Mr. Rick Bender has consistently championed innovation and growth across diverse industries. His expertise spans strategic management, marketing, and organizational development—skills he has leveraged to deliver transformative solutions that drive measurable impact.
In 2020, Rick co-founded AveNew Solutions, where he has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s vision and scaling its success. Under his leadership, AveNew has launched cutting-edge affinity programs that uniquely blend financial technology and wellness—pioneering a new approach to holistic customer engagement.
Beyond his work life, Rick brings the same passion and energy to his community and personal interests. He is an avid classic car enthusiast, a dedicated supporter of youth and community service through Kiwanis International, and the immediate past president of the Kiwanis Club of Carson, CA. When he’s not mentoring or innovating, you’ll likely find him cheering on his favorite sports teams or enjoying the thrill of SuperMotocross.
Barb Maynard
Co-CEO
Madame Barbara Maynard is a seasoned entrepreneur with nearly 40 years of leadership across the public and private sectors. She is the Co-Founder of AveNew Solutions, where she has fused technology, education, and engagement to create innovative platforms that drive impact—from civic participation to workplace transformation. A graduate of Columbia University, Barbara has also led humanitarian efforts around the world, including in Kazakhstan, where she adopted her daughter.
Barbara’s deep experience in financial markets includes serving as Director of Budget & Finance for an elected official representing a jurisdiction of more than 10 million people. In that role, she oversaw large-scale public budgets, evaluated long-term fiscal impacts of policy, and advanced strategic financial planning for one of the most complex governments in the United States. Her financial acumen continues to shape her work as she advises organizations on structuring major investments and cross-border transactions.
Nationally recognized for her work with labor unions, Barbara has spent decades developing financial and operational solutions to strengthen the public good. She has helped unions and advocacy organizations navigate economic challenges, defend critical jobs, and expand access to benefits for workers and their families. Her consulting practice has consistently focused on uplifting marginalized populations through pragmatic, data-driven strategies. Whether in finance, labor, or technology, Barbara brings clarity, courage, and a commitment to justice in all her work.
